hard to tell.. I had a weird problem with my mustang, didnt sound that badd but the problem turned out that my sparkplug teeth broke or something, sparkplug fell and piston slapeed it and blew the coil back straight out of the engine. Made the same sound when i accelerated and i thought i threw a rod. You might want to check the plugs. Its a ford problem rare but its a problem
