I got the 750hp rated one from MPH (www.modularpowerhouse.com) for pretty cheap. Not cheap like the ebay ones, but not expensive like the paxton. The last dyno, my air-intake temps rose only 4-degrees from ambient at 6600rpm with a 2.85" pulley on.........I couldn't be happier with it's performance. It is a turbo a/a intercooler.

Meth w/o an intercooler is ghetto and asking for trouble. Meth on top of an intercooler for added safety is a good idea imo.

The hood is painted silver, in great shape, does need a color sand, but thats no biggie. Would prefer a swap for a silver one, but will consider many options. Need to trade due to changed plan on this car. RTP/Greensboro/Charlotte

IDK about Ghetto, but yea asking for trouble!
Just meth injection alone is OK but the end result is it will not keep temps down after a few runs. Intercooler is superior in that it keeps temps down and safety wise much better than meth even with the so called meth safety devices.

hey guys thanks for all your imput. to answer a few questions i have a 2V. i rebuilt the motor with a .20over bore w/ manley pistons, valve job on intake and exhaust valves, ported heads, stage 2.5 blower cams. iv also installed longtube headers and my transmission is a PA transmission rated to 800rwhp with a torque converter from precision industries rated to 1600 rwhp stalled to 3000. So iv got the support i need for the motor.

The car was at about 360rwhp @ 6lb of boost before i decided to rebuild so with all the work ive done and after a tune from danny swanson im thinkin ill be at around 500rwhp.. but well see.

based on what everyone has said iv decided to keep the intercooler installed for now and keep the methanol injection installed. just to be safe

maybe you should retune it at RET, i had my car in at swansons about 2 months ago then i took it to RET and they got 24 more hp out of it and fixed the inconsistant idle.

If the 4V equivalent of your engine can't come close to 500RWHP with a pullied PD blower. How are you gonna make your 2V @ 10 PSI even close to 500rwhp?
well the cobra eaton is terrible. boost is a measurement of restriction in your intake from the cylinders, 10psi on one car doesnt mean another car will make the same power at 10psi. his car is alot different than a stock cobra with 10psi on the heaton.

op, you mentioned everything but rear end. you changed your axles/lsd out yet?
