Hey guys, last friday i came home from school, noticed i had a miss in the car. When i got home i plugged in my predator and i got an iac overspeed and a lean bank one code, no miss fire. i put a timing light on the car and the driverside checked out fine, the passenger side closest to the fire wall seemed like it was only firing half the time. Afer swapping the coil pack with an old one, and changing the plug the problem seemed to go away. The plug appeared to be a little lean, but gap was still correct and the electrode seemed fine. Today on the way home same story, i have not put the timing light on it to see if its the same cylinder yet. I had the car tuned when the gears were put in, it only had a cat back, cai, tb, plenum, typhoon intake manifold, udps, since then i have added long tubes,o/r h, and msd coils. Is it possible that the car is running too lean that is burning up the plugs? help please

Does the predator do a data log? A miss can be a clogged injector too.
either try swapping injectors out one by one with a known good injector until you find the defective one or get a data logging style OBDII scanner and see what your fuel trims are and what the O2 sensors are reading.
really high + numbers on the Short Term Fuel Trim (STFT) could be signs of a clogged injector. a + number means the injectors open time is increased. If the numbers are high (higher than +10-15%) that means the injector is having to stay open longer to meet the fuel requirements. I had to track down a similar issue with my wife's truck recently. what a learning experience that was.
i logged it, its any where from 19-25%, in my midst of being pissed off the whole evening, i reset my predator and erased my tune from JLP, would the facotry tune back in the car effect this reading?. Im aware of what cylinder it is... assuming that would be the injector to start with
