Default Should i get the Stage 1 or Stage 2 VT cams?

Hey guys im starting to wind down on my modding for my car with only the TB, plenum and then cams being left. I want to be able to get to 280 RWHP. Would the stage one cams allow me to do this? or would i have to jump up to the Stage 2's with springs? Do you guys think 280RWHP is attainable with cams and the mods i have listed? thanks guys

Have you had a dyno run before and if so, what did you put down?

I think you should get the stage 2's and go on ahead and get a p&p or extrude hone. You obviously spared no expense modding it so far. With some injectors, fuel pump and dyno tuning...you could be well over your goal.

Question: Do you have to remove the heads to do valvetrain on a mustang?? I know you do on Hondas, I hated that.

Be careful with those pumps, they are notorious for burning up.

Well, if you really want VT's (which I highly recommend), call VT, ask for Scott (tell him Mitch told ya to call, he will take good care of ya), tell him what you are looking for and let him suggest your best options. He might be able to do you some custom grinds, that are tailored to your exact needs and wants.
