Default Superchip and other perfromance programmers?

I am contemplating picking one of these up. I have a few questions.

1.) Is it worth it?
2.) I need my car to last, so, will this hurt long term reliability?
3.) What power programmer do you all reccommend?

Dont get Superchips or Hypertech. They suck. Worst tuners out there. I recommend sct xcal2 or the diablo predator. Mainly the sct xcal2

You can get 4.10/3.73s + bearing kit + Diablo Predator for 450bucks at RPMoutlet.com.

I might go with that kit myself..

I might sound like a panzy, but I watch reruns of Walker Texas Ranger atleast 2 times a day, and usually 4 or 5 on Monday and Tuesday. I've been watchin him since I was like 8, so its kinda hard not too.

Definately go with SCT Xcal2...the reason I say this is not because I have one...but because I know that most shops that do dyno-tuning use SCT technology.

That kit's with motive gears though, I personally only want to put ford racing gears in my car.

I'd take my chances with the Motives. If they whine I can just tell people its not my gears, its my hidden supercharger...

Also, How the is SCT that much better than the Predator??? I think I might get the Predator because I never really plan on getting a dyno tune or anything. And I'm not expecting much from the tune anyway...

I really doubt you noticed a 5HP gain.... You probably thought you did just because you were excited about your new mod and were expecting an improvement. But I really doubt youd notice a gain of about 5HP...

I'm not saying the SCT is better then the Predator...I'm only saying that all the dyno-shops I personally know of only use SCT tuning technologies so a Predator would be a waste for me, personally.
