I get about 280 per tank on average. DC area has lots of highways, but lots of traffic too. Best I had on a trip was 375 miles one tank; worse was 200 miles. Depends on how you drive. But that mazda truck is probably geared differently too; the Mustangs with stock gears are barely working: 2100 rpm @ 80mph.

Alot of it depends on how you drive your car. If you look in your owners manual it will tell you the best times to switch between gears (if you have 5 speed).

I own a 99 cobra. On a good day i am lucky if i get 230 miles per gallon. Usually if i drive nicely and do just a couple races i will get to 200 easy. Your mileage will depend on car and driver. Drive nicely and might get alot of miles.
HIghway driving is your best deal.

i think where liking miles per,tank,,,,i've been ******* mine got,70 on 1/4 tank,,thats good so far,,but drops quick after that..[:@]

I usually get 15-16 mpg in my car, but lately I've gotten 17-19 mpg in it with a mix of city highway driving.

The time i made 230miles was the 1.5 week that i like used back roads and mostley highway driving. I tried not to hit a road that has a light at it. That has happend 1 time. The rest of the time I get 200miles per gallon.

LOL no secret just try to not hit lights and skip gears and also skip gears when downshifting.
Use highway and back roads as much as possible

I get about 24 gallon lil over 320 tank...I just shift 1-2-4-5 and no down shifting when coming to a stop. shift @ aroung 2500. if your really worried than air the tires,keep it waxed,syth fuild thur oil,pullies
