Default Do the Mustang Convertible tops leak?

I need to know if I have to do a hardtop conversion if I get a Cobra Convert. It rains a lot where we live and I can't park in a garage. Anybody here had any trouble with leaks in their convertible?

I didn't know there was such a thing, how much would that cost?
If it does, you need a new top. My vert has never leaked a drop and I live in Florida, rains too often here.

Not positive if they have them for Mustangs but I have heard that they do it on s2000s and it costs several thousand bucks. I just don't want to regret buying this Cobra if I do get it because I would have this car for a very long time.

That will kill the car. Normal convertibles have extra bracing elsewhere to accomodate the missing hard top. I think your jumping into a hornets nest chopping the top and killing the value of the car. Also, the rear side windows go down on a convertible mustang.

He isn't talking about turning a hardtop into a vert, he is talking about turning a vert into a hardtop. Which I have never heard of personally.
