Default T/B and MAF

Sorry I know there have been tons of posts already about this kind of stuff but I have some questions. Been reading up a bit on the MAF and T/B. I've heard that it is better to get your MAF replaced than to get a CAI do you guys agree with that? What should I do first get a bigger T/B or get a bigger MAF. I've also been reading about some plenum or something like that. What exaclty is that?

The air goes through your filter, through the MAF, through the throttle body, and through the plenum. The plenum sits ontop of your engine and bends the air 90 degrees from the TB to the engine...

A C&L throttle body and plenum can be bought as a pair, and are all around good. Accufab makes a good throttle body as well. The C&L and densechargers make great CAI's because they stay cold even after long trips...I have a MAC CAI and it gets hot...I have to ice it before track runs and it's a pain in the A**!

Not exactly sure about MAF's, so I'll leave that to someone else...

The MAF is a Mass Air Flow sensor. It has a hot wire inside of it, and by judging how much voltage is required to keep it at that temperature, along with readings from the Air Intake Temperature sensor allows it to determine how much air and oxygen the engine consumes, allowing it to precisely determine how much fuel is required.

Once I get a welder, tubing, a mock engine/bay to work with, and the spare time to take on such a project and make a profit off of them, it's on it's way!

I actually do have a design up in my head.....2 plenium, long big dia. runners, with an X pipe connecting the front and back sections of the pleniums, breathing through dual 65mm throttle bodies and 70mm MAF's.
