i have 315/35R18 on a 10" in the rear on mine no prob.

Thanks for the help! I talked to the guy at discount tire, and I hated the fact that a 275/35 would be smaller than a 245/40 even though it was by just a bit. Even though for a 9" rim 275 is widest recommended we decided to go with a 285/35/r-18. It looks amazing, big a meaty on the rear but it does not look dangerously over sized. I don't see a problem with it being to wide for the rim. I'll post pics later, little busy with college at the time and we just got snow here in Georgia so my car needs washed first. Thanks again.
