Intake setup, judgements. (long as most of mine are)
I installed a K&N filter, C&L MAM, C&L trueflow inlet pipe, C&L upper plenum, and a BBK 70 MM throttle body the other day. Total cost of the parts was around 700 bucks.
Fit and finish wise I am really happy. Some people have said they dont like the way the C&L setup looks, but I think it looks great. Got rid of that god awful looking stock plastic pipe. And I love the way the aluminum looks. The Blue/red ring that connnects the pipe to the t/b looks really sharp. The kit went together SOOO easy. Explained everything fairly well, and everything went together smoothly. I was really impressed with the way the stock sensors all mounted up flush with the new stuff. Id say the entire job took me less than an hour (wasnt timing it, and I was screwing around a bit)
Finnally got a SMALL break in the rain today, sun came out for a small amount of time and the streets got dry (for about a freakin hour, stupid Missouri spring) and I took it out for a test drive. I gotta say im really happy with the results. Feels like the car is really making alot more horsepower. Got on a straight on a backroad and cranked her up to about 100. Fourth is really pulling strong now, feeling alot more like 3rd used to. Have to really control 1st now with the worn out BFGs on there, cant wait till my nittos come in later this week. As much as one can tell about such things with no dyno, it feels like im making the advertised 15-20 RWHP increase they stated.
The most suprising thing was the sound. At WOT the car really sounds nice now. Dont really know how to describe it, just sound like the car has more ***** And when I let off the gas and let the engine slow me down, it amplified the bumbada sound they make (you know what im talking about if you have a gt with exaust, hehe cant think of another way to describe it).
Ill post some pictures here as soon as my friend returns my digital camera. Should have some posted by next week.

I remember when I posted my C&L installation! I'm glad you like it. The only difference in our setup is that I have the FRPP 70mm t/b, but I can vouch for everything said said...cept I spent $600.

Glad you like your set-up. I too am a C&L man and I love mine. I agree 100% with what you're saying. Screw "cold-air" kits! I can't wait for their lower intake later this spring!!!

NOOO Kidding!! I REALLY hope it isnt gonna be like 1500 bucks or something though. These guys are extremely precise with their designs, and have dynos to back it up.
If they come out with the intake and its around 500 bucks (which im thinking, no way) im defeniatly going with that and a 100 shot of N20. No more stock plastic/composite/whatever intake manifold to worry about. Plus the way they are its sure to add a ton of power.
I heard it was/is supposed to be out this month, at least wherever I read said it was gonna be march, but im not sure
