Default Saw it...now I want one!

Yes, I saw the 2005 Mustang GT at the Columbus Auto Show. It was smoke grey with two light grey stripes running through it. It was AWESOME!

I couldn't help but notice they have it up to 300 horsepower, and is 200 pounds lighter. Up close, it looks like a really solid and muscular car. I was really impressed. The GT models will run $24k-29k, and the GT Convertibles will run $26k-31k.

Now I want one. So I'm saving my pennies for a down payment. I want to wait until february when they will bring out the convertible. My favorite would have to be the smoke grey with the stripes, and a black top and interior. Then I'll slap in some gears and a loud exhaust. Just wanted some opinions on what you think about the 05'.

Yeah i am also a fan of the new Pony. But as with all new things problems will arise. Being a FORD tech and seeing what happens when FORD puts out a new engine, DONT buy the new pony when it comes out. Wait a year or 2 and buy new. So they will have time to get the problems aside. But i do like it. I cant wait to test drive them

I feel the same way as Casper. It was worth waiting for the '96 GT over the 95's. The 2005 is sweet looking and appears to be a great buy for the $$$.

I'm about due for newer technology and styling myself.

I wonder what it's going to do to the 96-98 models? Oh wait, we're f**ked already by the foxbodies and 99+'s.... Well, for the 2004- market will take a huge hit I think.

I agree...I love the new design too. Modern yet classic!
