How can you find out what kind of chip is in your processor
How can you find out what type chip you have in your processor. I have a 98 GT and it has some kind of chip in it that the previous owner put in.

find your computer and look at the end with the opening and you should see a chip. it should say on top of the chip. be carefull when touching the chip, static can destroy your chip and or computer. seen it done
computer location: open the passenger side door and kneel down. its on the right side under the glove box. you have to take off the quarter panel to get to it. it looks like an enlarged hard drive from a computer.
