Well, to adjust your timing of course. It makes it possible to mechanically adjust your ignition timing for more performance

AS I said in my pevios post, it is ignition timing, and yes if you don't have a tuner its worth looking into

Isn't that going to make it so that you have to run higher octane gas? Paying $$ for 91/93 gas to get 3hp? I THINK NOT! I wouldn't pay the $ of 9x gas unless I was to get atleast a 30hp increase.

I hear you on that. With the price of gas these days 3 horsepower just isnt worth it.

Whoever said it only adds like 3-4hp is way off. It adds closer to 15hp. Yes it will make you need a higher octane gas, which will cost about $2.50 a tank. If thats putting you in the poor house you shouldn't be modding your Mustang.

No, why would you pay $300-400 on a tuner to shave HP and save about $2.00-$2.50?
