Hey All, new member. Today i took home my first Ford, a 98 GT. I am a chevy man, always have been, always will be. But my 97 30th Ann Z28 was giving me aton of problems, so i traded it in for this car. I figured if im going to be anti-ford, i might as well own one at some point in my life. But i like this car, it's alot different than my camaro, and much more fun to drive. I look forward to learning as much as i can from you guys, maybe this whole ford thing will grow on me. I'll get some pictures and a list of modifications up here for you guys shortly.

I think it will grow on you if you already think it is more fun to drive than your Z28.I like GM, I also own a 95T/A.What problems was the Z28 giving you?

well in two months, i lost an O2 sensor, temp gauge, (these two went out in 2 days and the temp gauge screwed up the computer)wiper motor, tire rod, both turn signals, a coolant leak wich i couldnt pinpoint but i believe was the water pump. thats about all i can recall at the moment.

That is too bad it must have been a lemon, because most of the GM cars I have owned have been dependable.

I think that would just about turn me against GM!!! lol I am also a partial chevy guy, which I own a 2002 Z06 at the moment. But there's just something about Ford that I've always loved... and that's why I'm getting rid of my Vette for a Mustang!
