Stall Out at Speed

I'm having a problem with my 1996 GT stalling out when I take it out of gear when de-accelerating. It has happened about four times in the last week. Normally it is when I am pulling out of third gear and rolling at about 40MPH (I don't know if the speed of the motor has anything to do with it or not. The tach just drops to zero and oil pressure gauge goes to zero instead of balancing out at about 800RPM. If I put it back in gear, the engine refires and seems to run fine afterwards.

Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.
