Buy a K&N air filter and call it a day.
You need to spend a freakin fortune on mustangs to get any extra power.

Ok that guy is a complete tool. First of all 97targa doesnt know what hes talking about because he prolly drives a 97 beatdick sn95. If you dont have a mustang dont talk on this forum jackass. Second of all it looks like you drive a Mach 1 Reaper?? So there for your already doing good. DOHC is the ****. So where to begin well i would prolly go w/ a cold air intake, bigger TB, and intake plenum. Then I would do full exhaust and rear end gears. Then you can come back and ask what to do next.

Definitely throw some Full Exhaust on there... You don't need to dive into suspension yet, its really not necessary at this point in time. The I would definitely grab some gears, and you could get a CIA too. I would look into a tuner package with those gears too, I know they are selling them together a lot now because you will need it to fix the speedo.

Then you could always dive into some cam work, maybe some F/I... Then get the suspension done.

Cai, but dont buy the jlt, even though all the mach owners say how good it id. My friend got a jlt Ram Air intake and that thing was a B**ch to install. IT still isnt in perfectly. Stick with something simpler like c&l or stteda. If its auto like mine a tuner will really help.
also lots of mach owners buy this here
this is a review of it here
