So I don't know if anyone has seen my other post, but I'm thinking I probably have been cursed by the notorious cracked intake manifold. So if it turns out that that is indeed what my problem is I'm wondering if I should take my car to a Ford Dealership and have them fix it for me, or if I should try to take this on myself? I've worked a little on cars but am by no means an expert at this stuff, so how hard is it to replace the intake manifold, what all do I need, and where is a good place to buy them from?? Also, what would be the best type to buy, and are there any aftermarket, high-flow manifolds available? I have a 98 GT by the way, and any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks guys.

Ok I just found the PI Intake from Ford Racing...but it says it's for PI Heads. So does this mean if I were to go with that intake I'd have to replace the heads and everything too?

I have heard of people doing the PI intake swap w/o swapping heads. I found this site that talks a little about it. I also remember seeing a kit that would allow you to do so because of the gaskets it came with. Searching google for the answer is prob your best bet.
