I have 20" on mine. Got it from my brother. I like they way they look...but, it definately takes away from the performance of the car. They have 35 series tires on them... Believe me...you will feel the bumps of the road.

If you like to cruise your car...20's are fine...but, if you race it like 90% of the people on this board, then stay with the 17 or 18 inch.

Just my opinion

BTW...20" on my sig

is that an optical illusion or do the back rims look smaller than the front?

19" and bigger is asking for some *** spanking... on the 05/06 mustangs they would look decent but not on 99-04s...

Hey man, If you like the look of 20s then go for it. As long as you like, who cares what anyone else thinks

...and that rear end isn't?

I say if you find some you like, then go for it. Despite popular belief, everyone didn't buy their mustangs to race them.

Thanks for all your responces and opinions
I am from England, where there is a big Sports compact influence
big wheels and massive drops is what its all about over there!

Performance is a big issue for me as i am retiring from sports bikes (too dangerous, now i am married)
I want to feel the extreme acceleration again, but be safer!

I am saving for a convertible gt 99-04, i guess when i get my american
muscle! (2.0 is a big engine in the UK! gas is $9 a gal!!!!) i will get 18" saleen style
rims.

how low would u guys drop the suspension? and what would u use e.g springs or coilover?
