sure there is no problem with waste spark but since cop doesn't fire the spark on the exhaust side, it has twice the time to saturate each individual coil. so at higher rpm the spark is weaker which runs a higher change of missing, espically when coupled with a supercharger. also since there is no spark plug wires the resistance throughout the whole system is much more closely matched, which in turn improves efficiency. only downside is you really can't use an ignition scope on it. you can but the pattern comes up like ****.
