RE: top speed
how about your an idiot. your backup link the racer one said the acr had 235 HP and i can put www.ford.com on anything, it jsut takes you to the global site, it has nothing to do with the interceptor. and like i said the crown vic police model has a continental engine. hmm it seems your still wrong. im done posting here. i think that im satisfied especially after your link prooving me right.

Top speed i have no clue, got mine to 130 on test drive and never pushed it after that... stock quarter is around low 14's to high 14's... all depends on driver...

If anyone runs a high 14 in a 5 speed 99-04 GT he needs his *** kicked and his mustang taken away from him....I hate it when i see guys at the track and on the net that only manage to run mid 14's with mods....Hell those cars are capable of low 14's in the hands of a terrible driver BONE STOCK....atleast 14.3 with a 5 speed coupe is what you should be shooting for, if your a terrible or inexperienced driver.....I took my vert to 13.9 more than 5 times with a trap speed of 98+ on nearly every run......So i just don't get these high 14 second runs.

LoL...you can call me whatever name floats your boat. But yes, the link said the 98-03 models had 235 HP. Exactly as I stated in my first post. And yes it was the interceptor. What's even funnier is that the continental is a product of lincoln, whose parent company is Ford. Ford makes all the motors for all their cars. But hey, call me wrong as you please. Everyone who reads the post and the supplied links will know that you're just one of those shade tree mechanics who knows everything, and can't be corrected no matter what proof is supplied. Ah well, I was only trying to correct the misleading info......it's not like I really give 2 snaps what's in a police car, and what options, as I don't drive one.
