Default Diablo programmer

Is this programmer honestly worth $300, or should I go for something else?

I have had both and they're about the same. I like the Xcal2 better though. I actually like the old Xtreme software that can also be used on the xcal2, the only thing is you can't change stuff with the unit itself if you use the Xtreme software. I use it because of my auto trans. With the old software you can realy tweak the shift points and converter lock-up. I know you have a five speed but check out these screen shots. Very cool. Get the Xcal2

yes its worth it! If you have mods or changing gears than it helps alot. But if you are running stock than it doesnt help much but maybe 10hp.

If you paid what I paid, it's more than worth it. Retail is well worth the price as well.

I took the car for a spin as soon as I loaded the tune, very impressed with the results.

You do know that you have to return the original car's tune to stock before you can use it on another car :P

rw98...
Tell me more about the C&L, BBK setup you bought. Exactly what pieces did you get and where did you get it from? How much? Anything else you care to comment on? There are probably lots of interested readers.
I am considering one of the complete combo setups from www.rpmoutlet.com.
Thanks.

The Diablosport Predator is one of the first mods I bought for my car. When I got my stallion I knew that I was gonna put my heart and soul into this car. Everybody knows the computer is the brain of the car. You can put as many mods as you want on the car, but they will NEVER reach full potential without adjusting the computer to make up for the added air, fuel, timing, gears, etc. I installed mine when I was basically stock and found really good HP gains from it. Now everytime I get a new mod I will drive the car.....change the tune...drive it again. I can tell a difference in almost every mod with and without the tune. There are also a lot of other things that you can do other than HP gains, coolant fans, shift points, axel ratio, OXYGEN SENSORS!!!!, traction control, speed limiter, rev limiter, etc.
