Clutch Noise?

RE: Clutch Noise?
No its only with the clutch out. You can give it just enough gas to make it stop but with giving it more gas to accelerate or less to decellerate it sounds like somethings grinding. If you push in the clutch almost to the free rev point (where you can rev while your drivig) then it wont do it.

the part is like 7 bucks at the most. labor is a bitch. if you want to put in a better clutch now is the time. you can do it yourself and save a ****load of money. to have some one else do it will most likely cost between 500 and 700 dollars.

Dear god! Thats just another bill I need right now... Paying $201 for insurance, $150 for diversion ticket, $100 for car loan, and paying off my college computer [:@]! How hard is it to put in a new throwout bearing? And if I need to replace it and should put in a new clutch, what clutch should I go with? Seen many good things about the King Cobra clutchs and see that alot of people on here use em but is there any others I should consider?

RE: Clutch Noise?
im not saying you have to get a new clutch but to get to the throwout bearing you have to pull the away from the motor so you might as well replace the clutch. difficulty wise its a bitch. if you dont know how and none of your friends do get a guide for your car(chilton, hanes, etc...) and read over what it takes to change the throwout bearing. if you still dont think you can do it start looking for the best price.

Ya I know your saying that I wont have to replace the clutch Im just agreeing with you in that if I gotta pull it out pratically anyways might as well replace it cause its the stock clutch with 80K+ on it. I have a brother-in-law that can help and a next door neighbor that could probably help me with it but sounds like it won't be fun... Any suggestions for a new clutch?
