Will underdrive pullies drop power on my battery? I have a 1500 RMS watt amp with a 2000 watt subwoofer. This thing drains juice as it is. I just got some underdrive pullies but am hesitant on installing them. If I put them on and my lights dim every time I turn the radio on, I'm gonna send them back. Just wondering because I can't return them if they are used.

Do you have capacitors installed currently?

Have you priced out a bigger alternator?

If you dont already have a capacitator get one and that will help you with your power problem. then you should be all set to install those pullies.

No I don't have capacitors or an aftermarket alternator. I was thinking that of the three pulleys, 2 were smaller than original and 1 was larger than original. Shouldn't this free up the engine, but still keep the alternator at the same speed??
