why would you create a hole in your hood to allow water to drop right onto your car? Not the smartest thing Ive heard of

1)pop open hood
2)remove clips and take off heatshield
3)remove 6 bolts and take off hood scoop
4)dremel the holes in the hoodscoop

5)put blanket over your engine to make sure no pieces get in it.
6)when you removed the hoodscoop you will see an oval dremel out the oval. in the picture the oval is in black

7)put the heatsheild back on and mark where the hole is then cut an oval out of the heat shield.

8)put heatshield and hoodscoop back on and now your hoodscoop is functional.

well it did do something... when i had stock intake. i had a ram air kit hooked into the stock airbox.

It's not really "functional", but a drilled and cut hood does keep the upper manifold chilled pretty decently. Just don't drive in a tsunami or anything.
