I cut the hole out under the scoop and drilled out the honeycomb. I didn't do it to make it a functiona ram air but it dose blow cold air onto my CAI and plenum. You can notice a difference on the freeway with more power due to the intake charge staying cold. I stopped after a 45min drive on the freeway and felt the intake tube where is is useally to hot to touch and it was very cold. I also noticed a little better gas miliage while on the freeway.
