4.10's end of story...............go big or go home dont mess around with 3.73's you will just kick yourself in the head later
I like my 3.73s just fine, and I am sure I'll like them a whole lot more after next week....

Just curious, but would 3.73's make better street/road course gears? I could care less about 1/4.
GO 3:55'S FOR OVERALL GAIN.

First mod? TIRES TIRES TIRES TIRES TIRES TIRES!!!! I dropped .3 off my 1/4 when I swapped to drag radials and probably could have made it slightly more then that to be honest. Either gears or tires.. but you need BOTH to really get a good launch at the strip.

The best mod for the money at your price would be a gear swap.

If you have a automatic do a 3.73 gear.

If you have a standard do a 4.10 gear.

The if you do a bigger gear than a 3.73 on a automatic your asking for Tranny Problems.

I had a 2002 Mustang 5 speed Manual and I put the 3.73 gears.
And if you really want to feel the power you need to do a supension upgrade.
Adjustable shocks, subframe connectors, springs, and control arms. You won't believe the difference it
makes by changing these parts. It drive completely different and it stiffens the frame and allows you
to put more power to the ground which will improve your time.
autos go 4.10s too, and if i had a T-3650 tranny my car would have atleast 4.30s in it, but i dont[&o]
