In order to install stage 3 cams for my 4.6 2v, what would i have to do to make the motor handle it or use the cams full potential?

heads, built bottom end. and maybe a intake manifold i think

When you say heads... you mean buy new heads?

Or buy aftermarket performance heads. Either way it's going to be roughly the same amount......extra expensive!!

why did you order cams with out looking into what it would take??

you cant put stage 3 cams in your motor without having your pistions fly cut....trust me i learend the hard way......if u have any Q's just pm me

along with the forged internals, heads, intake manifold
give the guys a call at vt engines a call and they could help you out

know you said just engine stuff but thought I would add the other stuff
Also recommended would be exhaust, and gears . If you are auto, you will need a stall.

You would have to have a dyno tune

take all that dough and put it on a supercharger and then buy a motorcycle with the money you will have left over.
