Default Troubles with 4.10s

i just got my 4.10 gears yeterday and i love them. it is almost like driving a new car, but... the whole speedometer thing sucks. no tuner can fix my speedometer because the models before 1999 the speedometer is not controled by the computer. this is a fair warning that a tuner will not fix your cars speedometer so you don't need to buy a tuner unless you want one. all it takes is a gear to go on your speedometer cable to fix it. i needed a 23 tooth. but yeah gears are awsome all except for that. i recomemd that everyone gets 4.10s

Can you still accelerate normally with them or is it stop-to-go fast? I'm asking you because you are new and have no reason to lie. I am really undecided on which gears to go with.

4.10 and 3.73. I'm leaning towards 4.10's because I hear nothing but good things about them. I don't hear as much about 3.73's but I think it's because whenever anyone brings up 3.73's they get internet gangbanged on.

4:10's man. I bought mine the other night from a guy who's dad works for ford, his dad makes ring and pinions for a living. So he made me some and they only cost me 80 bucks. Pays to know people I guess.

You should ask him if he want's to make some more money. I would definately buy them from him for even 100 bucks.
