Default check engine light

i just installed me new exhaust a few weeks ago and when putting in the new prochamber, i was only able to get 3 of the 4 02 sensors connected. the fourth one, i didn't have enough slack in the wiring to screw it in. anyways, my check engine light just came on the other day, but the car seems to be running fine. what is the probability that it's just b/c my 02 sensor isn't connected????

I'm sure the reason is because the 02 sensor is not on but you really need to get it put on.. the car will start to not drive as well with it off.

I have heard that when the car detects a problem with the o2 sensors it will start to go into a type of "safe mode" which retards timing etc..

by turning the sensor off with , say a predator, willl solve this "safe mode" problem correct

ok, theoretically, if i have my stock h pipe and i turn off the o2 sensors with it, will it not going into "safe mode" make me a little more power?
