Default Weird 1/4?

Today i went to the bithlo dragway to finally see what my car runs. My first run was against another gt stang, when we set up to race eachother i was over the line so i had to reverse and while i was reversing the guy presses the button so the lights go off. On that race i got a 15.6@92mph, thats okay because i was on reverse.

2nd race I was up against a GT stang with boss stickers, so they called it a boss stang, he said his worst run ever was a 14.8 because he missed a gear. ok. I lined up perfect torquebreaked to 1300 and got an early reaction time(mistake), I had the BOSS by good 1 1/2 cars, and i thought i would hit mid 14's atleast, and when i got my time slip it said 15.74 @82 and for the boss 15.99@91 ????? I Did not mess up, its not like i can anyway it auto. barley any tire spinage, perfect. I am thinking it was a comp error but i dont want to blame it on that. I mean if those civics run high 15's and there slow as crap, what the hell, and my cousin video recorded it so it looked like i was going pretty fast.

Anyone ever had computer messups. because I know a near stock gt can run faster than 15's

umm...the lights shouldn't be controlled by a person it should start going off when both of you guys already staged. You probably backed into it and staged when he already staged, and the light started to go off when you weren't ready and still in reverse. and yes those times are awfully high, you probably didn't launch it hard enough. what was your 60' time? Show all the numbers from your time slips it helps to figure out what happened.

Edit: wait, are you sure those are ET times? because ET times don't count reaction time. You can't get a worse 1/4 mile time for being in reverse or not having a good reaction time because the timer starts as soon as your front tire leaves the staging beams.

Something just doesn't sound right. Being in reverse and getting caught off guard should not in any way hurt your ET. Unless you reversed into it, staged, and broke the beams again in reverse when the light already went off. But if you did that, your ET time would have been a LOT worse than just 15's. I think that your quarter mile times are with the reaction time added. Post the slip and we can figure it out.

Your 60' times aren't great, they could definetly be improved... I don't understand why you have such low MPH? Maybe the car is a dog? I'm lost, I don't know what's wrong...

Maybe the car is just slow?? I'm not being smart, I just can't figure out why everything would be so bad... You should be trapping(MPH) alot higher then that...
