Default How many rpm's

if i install 4:10's on my 2002 gt auto at 80mph what will be my idle rpm at that speed?

I'm not sure about an auto but at 80 mph in my manual i'm at 3000 rpm's.

Your not idling at 80 mph unless you are in neutral. check the stickies, one has a gear calculator for you.

Maybe with 18's
With 17' 245/45/17 rubber @ 25.4inch diamter and with 2:73's you'll be @2980rpm's in 5th.
Automatics genrally run 150 rpms higher at highway speeds

he has an automatic...that RPM is for a manual. he has a 4R70W...not a 3650.


RPM Calculator

i dont know if you have the standard or wide tranny...but for standard your RPMs would be 2876.4 and for wide the RPMs would be 3005.2.
