Default Steeda Pullys- charging problems...

I have an '04 GT. Soon I am planning on upgrading my sound system to an alpine HU, amp, and 12" sub. I also wanted to go with the steeda underdrive pullys for a bit more performance. Will my new stereo, combined with my a/c, lights, and other stuff give me and my battery/alternator issues? Keep in mind, this is in no way going to be a high-powered stereo system. I'd really like to get these pullys...thanks in advane for the help.

you shouldnt have any problems. If your worried, there are batteries you can buy to hook up to your system so when you use it, the battery will help supply power, and when your not, the car battery will recharge it.

I installed my Steeda UD pulleys about 4 days ago. I have a 1,500 watt RMS amp and a 2,000 watt 12 inch sub in the trunk. So far I haven't had any problems with my battery or alternator. I've been working 3rd shift so I haven't been driving around at night with the lights on much. I doubt it will make any difference.

You should be ok for a while but if your really worried. You can always get a 200 amp alternator. Very good thing to do if your running alot of power.

i have a 8" 600w solobaric and a 600w amp with 8AWG wire and the only thing i notice at night is a slight dimming of the lights when it hits really hard. it doesnt bother me that much but if thats going to bother you then just get a capacitor. your sub will hit harder and it wont draw on your battery as much
