Default KB mustang GT from my area, pictures

At the car show last weekend there was a KB mustang GT that I had not seen before from my area. (and a turbo v6 focus).

https://mustangforums.com/m_1405897/...tm.htm#1405897

The guy acted kinda funny, like he was pissed we were there. Tried to talk to him but he just acted like he was too good or something. His buddy said it was a 1.7L and he dynoed like 364 or something. Had a catback and maybe a midpipe, maf and k&N.

I also ran into a guy with a 5.1L stroker n/a car this weekend. He had stage 2 cams, patriot stage 3 heads, a 5.1L livernois kit, and of all things a IRS swap. Was the first built N/A car I had seen. I would have loved to run him before the blower to see how much of a difference it would make on video

Should have run the KB GT.

I roasted an S2000 last night. We went from a 20 mph roll and I killed him. Then he wanted to race through some twisty streets but I know i would have lost.

There just wasn't any chance. It kept looking like it was going to rain, and every time we tried to talk to them they just ignored you.

Frankly, I think he was pissed because the thought he had the only supercharged GT around, and someone shows up with the same color car with more done lol.

BTW, the GT driver with the IRS, he had magnaflows as well, and I really need to turn my idle down. His was set at 900 and it sounded SICK.

He said "because it was free and came with a magnaflow catback, 4.10s, and a new diff. "

I asked him if he was into handling or track racing and he said no, so I guess he wasn't kidding.

I would have loved to see a video of you running him. I'm starting to lean towards vortech rather than the KB. That thing is just so damn expensive and the way my jetta is acting lately, I might need another winter car.

I think the point everyone always seems to miss about the KB vs Vortech argument is the price. If you compare our two cars, he spent about the same amount on performance mods. I don't think there can be too much arguement about which car is faster, no matter where the race happens to occur (street/strip)

I think I am gonna turn the idle down sometime after work this week and make a new video. I may have been wrong about not being able to get the cams sound out of a magnaflow system.

On the other hand, the 5.1 guys car kept trying to stumble, but that may have been his tune.
