I saw a mach1 outrun a 99 cobra with 4.10's...I like the mach1's better personally but that's just me. Solid rear axle and all.

+1. Stock for Stock the Mach1 runs with it.. if not ahead of it. We all know the 99 Cobra may have forged stock internals, but the C/R is only 9.85:1, While the stock Mach 1 has 10.0:1 Stock. IRS vs Solid. Both had 3.55 Gears. And the mach1 is UNDERrated, while the 99 Cobra is OVERrated. SO Yea, the Mach is a better car :P IMHO (not like I'm biased or anything)

all the guys with front wheel drive cars made that roll race **** up because they dont have traction in 1st gear :'( cry cry.
its possibly the gayest thing I have ever seen in my life. The only positive is its very easy, just jump on the highway, slow down traffic and race. You dont have to stop. But then again, its the dumbest **** ever.

With the recall parts installed the cobra does become faster. The cobra has forged internals and the highly acclaimed Teksid(aluminum) block. Does the 99 have a 6-speed? Lastly, its a cobra.

Hey mustangchris, remember that Red 99 Cobra that used to come by Zio's? and the White Mach1? Yep, those are the two I'm talking about. I raced the Cobra from a roll b/c it was my first time ever racing and he pulled me pretty good. I'm sure he wouldn't have wanted to race from a dig b/c of his IRS and I understand that.

then dont buy from a dealer, private party is the way to go cuz u dont have to pay sales tax, and u guys mod ur cars anyway which voild the warantee.
