Thats really high for a car with a salvage title. 7 or 8 MAYBE, if you can get it registered ok in your state.

Why was it salvaged? If the "Chassis" is/was bent, don't do it. I had really bad experiances with two salvage cars. If it was for upper body damage that was mostly cosmetic then at 7 or 8 it's a good deal.

if it was involved in a wreck and re-built I would stay away from it (i say if because iv seen insurance companys total out cars with out a dent, they hit something tore a chunk out of the motor, and transmission and gas tank), very very few body shops will ever be able to get the car to ride right again after a bad wreck. If your really intrested in it, i would test drive the **** out of it, see how it handles drives, if the steering wheel is off center, any noises etc., and take it to a frame shop and see how close they got it. then look the suspension over REALLY good, see if they replaced parts or just heated and bent them back out. see if the floor pan is wrinkled, cracked etc. how well the body lines match, paint job, doors open/ shut properly etc.
