Default 4.30's vs 4.10's

How big of a difference is their between 4.10's and 4.30's. I plan to keep the car stock except for a short throw shifter, gears, and a Diablo sport tuner for at least a while. What are some disadvantages of 4.30's besides even worse gas mileage? I have not seen many people talk about them so I was just wondering if they were not really worth it like 4.10's are supposed to be?

P.S.- These mods will be hopefully going on a 2001+ GT convertible. (I don;t know exact year model yet because it will still be about 3-4 weeks before I am going to be able to purchase the Mustang.)

I would say count on the T-3650 because I was going to try and get a stang with one.

what about those with automatics? i bought 4.30s about 2 months ago, and they are still waiting for install. the longer i wait, the longer i think they may be a bit too much... but then again, every time someone gets 410s, someone chimes in with 'i give it a month till you want 4.30s...

Ask Acer if he regrets his 4.30s in his auto......think of it this way, he was able to keep up with 99-04GT 5spds in his nonPI auto(now pi-swapped and sold).

i was contemplating 4.30, i got 4.10's and i am happy with them. after driving with them you will realize this should have been your first mod ESPECIALLY when you drive on the freeway. love freeway speeds w/4.10's

i love my 4.10s as well

as far as wich ones....dont fear the gear....its honestly not that big of a differnce

but if you have 4.30s....or even 410s for that matter, you better have some nice tires to hook all
that power, or they will make you even slower....

also forget about driving in the snow
