so a turbo making the same boost as a supercharger is good for 150 more HP? Thats ridiculous. Re-dam-diculous. Remember that the Cobra (03) has Manley Hbeam connecting rods and forged crank, and aluminium race pistons and a cast iron block...Its pretty bullet proof as far as the bottom end...I know a couple that run around 800, and they have multiple passes on the engine. I know guys running 575 at the wheels on daily drivers. You cant flow more air than the other components are capeable of, heads, valves, exaust. I would find out what the maximum amount of air you can flow through the heads valves is and boost acordingly. My brother makes about 15 with his Lightning, and its running great, with 475 at the rear wheels. The truck has 360 stock HP...Might be 380, cant remember. And noone ever said "Supercharger Only", just that the engine is capeable of that.

Your nutso...parasitic gain? How many people have you passed that over on...Parasitic los might be 50 HP max.

Parasitic loss will definitely show when comparing a Turbo to a supercharger but no way is it going to be 150 HP!!!!!
