I really think that most gt are 6 bolt. I can't say for sure there could be randoms out there with 8 but I'm pretty sure most are suppose to be 6

the windsor motors are 6 bolt, romeo's are 8. the 01+ GT's with the 3650 trannys will have the 8 bolt flywheel.

i just ordered an 8 bolt flywheel for my car.

Well that can't be true but because my 96gt is a romeo engine and it's a 6 bolt.

Romeo is 6 bolt, Windsor is 8 bolt, BUT we have seen one or 2 mix ups in the past. BTW, I have a brand New '02 GT 6 bolt flywheel, Disc and pressure plate if any one needs it.

ok... ive got my aluminum flywheel... the 6 bolt one... i gave it to ford and they are going to put it on... actually i hand tightened the crank bolts on the flywheel.... they have yet to touch the car since.... 4 more cars infront of mine they say... i was like wtf, mine has been there about a month... but i took it back for 3 weeks of that cause i was tired of waiting for the syncro's to come in... and guess what, they still arent in yet!! but thats why i got a different tranny... hehe.
