Default Spark Plugs

I just wanted to let everybody know that I decided to change the spark plugs on my car myself because of advise I got from people on these forums. It went perfect and was easier than I imagined. I, like many others, thought you had to remove the fuel rail to get the coils out... wrong. So if anybody out there with a 99+ GT is doubting if they can do the spark plug change on their own.... YES YOU CAN!

What kind of plugs did you use? I'm planning to change mine at about 60 K, during the second transmission fluid change..

I used Bosch platinum 2s. No real performance gain but the engine feels smoother. I my car has 64,000mi so I figured it was due for some plugs.

i just changed mine this weekend i used brisk premium plugs, and i realized quick that 9/32 was not the correct size bolt for the coil packs. did anyone else find this? mine were 7mm.

I changed mine a couple of weeks ago and it was not too hard. My advice for people is get a 10 in extension. People say a 6 in is enough, but at least one of the plugs required more than 6 in to get to it and it made it easier to change a couple of the passenger side plugs.

I bring this back to the top to ask a question. How do you remove the boot on the plugs? I can't get my meat hooks close enough to get a good grip. Any help is greatly appreciated.
