I pegged my needle out in Vegas. They have nice freeways there. After it pegged I continued to watch the RPMs continue to rise. I just kept going faster. Soon after that I noticed the red and blue lights behind me get smaller and turn off.

hey andrewclark my brother in law has a 330i. How did you do against him? good/bad/even?

When i raced him i got him by about 2 maybe 3 lengths each time. they are pretty quick. i think they have like 230hp or something. it was a 5 speed and the driver was pretty good. I saw in your other post you said you had like 220hp so it might be an even race depending on how good you drive.

HIs car is a 2001, and I read somewhere that his 330i puts out 220 horse crank and my gt puts out 215 crank stock... with mufflers and intake i may have a few crank horsepower. It will probably be even, although he has the sport automatic which i have driven many times, and it shifts like absolute butter when you floor it, and it just screams... .05 second pause... screams.... .05 second pause... etc it just goes faster and faster. I may have him off the line and mid range, but as most BMWs are he'll probably pull on top speed. It's a nice ride, handles so tight, super fast, and is silent. Yo ucan go 100+ mph and not even feel it. It has made me want a bmw so bad lol but the good ones like this aren't cheap

no that was with my stock gears, fastest i had it up too with 4.10's was 120.....from about 70-120 the 4.10's pull HARD in my car i let off at 120 but it still had a ways to go

ya true that. they are so quiet when driving fast and the 5 speed shifts extremely smooth and handles like a dream. My dad had a 1998 528i with like 130,000miles on it and it drove like new. When he sold it, he sold it for $7,000. so you can find one, but with a lot of miles for cheap. They just dont have enough torque for me though. Do the 01's and 04's have the same specs?
