I HAVE THE SOLUTION!!!!


Oh god, this bothered me for years... i coudlnt figure out what the **** it was. Whenever I put a new windshield in... its the black cover infront of the windshield (on the outside of the car). It sucks air in through the vents in the plastic cover so if you use your vents you hear it more often...

I just accidentally pushed down on it and was like AHH THATs the noise! I just pushed down on it really hard and just fiddled with it, havent heard it since!

how fast are you going??? when I hit 120 the only thing shaking was my out of balance tires haha

The noise would happen for me after like 10 minutes of 75mph driving... and wouldnt stop till i parked it.

maybe it's just certain years.... i've got a 2000 body style and have never heard it before... and I've topped it at 145... well lets just call it a "few" time... lol

if you grease up those automotive clips holding the piece together you should hear it anymore.

my 2003 has that noise. it sounds like the plastic in front of the windshield, but i just turn the radio up. it's a ford interior, expect rattles.
