Put about 2k worth of forged and billet internals and another 3500 for the charger and boost it to about 16psi and that will be an 11s car easily and you can always bump it down for street driving. Later you will need to upgrade the drive train to a higher stress application.

Yes you will need the T-56 but it does have it's problems too. Think about all this before you do it. Shoot you could get a 99 Cobra motor and boost that. It's all going to depend on what you want and how much you're willing to do and spend. 11's won't be super hard. Matt's (100TH96COBRA) car was easily capable of running 11.5s with drag radials all day and drive to and from the track. Let him tell you about it. That could be a way for you to go also.

First off the DOdge SRT-10 is only running 13 to 14 in the 1/4 mile depennding on the driver. they are easy to beat if you have a nicely built stang. You will NEVER beat a Z06 with a mustang unless it isnt streat legal. My friend had a newer Z06 and thats got to be one of the fastest cars I have ever driven. I honestly dont think its possible for a highly modified stang to even hang with a stock Z06. I may be wrong. Im baseing my all this off the fact that a stock Z06 is running low 12's in the quarter. Everyone I know that has a vette doesnt keep it stock though so they are always running a lot better than stock times.

Jdaniel, lmao you ***, Ive seen so many 03 cobras spank z06's , just look on kazaa man, get a clue. Okay enough hating. I just know that I have driven a 03 cobra and it didnt seem like it was all there. It had 477 miles on it and I just thought there would be more punch to it with it being supercharged. I do know for a fact that the Z06 was a faster car when compared to the two I drove. Im not trying to hate, simply stating an opinion.

Nice video but why dont you hook up with one on a quarter mile instead of depending on a rolling start so your s/c is already wound up? I can almost bet he would dust you then and it looks like he kinda laid off after you tried catching up. Just didnt look real. But its a good show off video.

there are many factors that you must consider when doing an engine swap. i used swap motors and race ricers, anyways those days are gone with the wind. but about your swap, make sure you don't have to deal with smogging, that can be a headache at times unless you got the hookups. if you have strict smog laws where you are i don't recommend it, unless it is a complete race vehicle. i would probably just save a little money and buy a used cobra, it will save you the headache. don't mean to burst your bubble. let me know what you think.

my cobra would wax my friends z06 from a roll all day long
I've seen a stock 02 GT with 150 shot race a Z06 and they were door-to-door.
