Default Steering problem 2002 gt

Hi im new the the forums and I really need some help. My car has a wierd problem with the steering. it wants to pull to the right sometimes and the steering wheel kind of shakes back and forth when im around 55-60 mph. I had the tires balanced and rotated. It seems to help it alittle but not enough. Would you guys have any idea at what this could be caused from and how to fix it. Thanks for your help. One more thing I forgot to mention was that when I hit the brake it wants to pull to the right also.

Jack your car up. Pull each wheel off and look at it. Sounds to me like an alignment problem.

Well I got the car from a dealer about 5 days ago. They pulled up a carfax on it to see if its been wrecked but it wasnt just some service stuff done to it and it had that no lemon thing on it. But its really bothering me. I had the tires balanced and rotated but that didnt fix it. The dealer had that done cause I told him about it when I was test driving it. He was sure that it would fix it and it was nothing to worry about. Well now im worried about it and it makes me sick. I dont know what I should do about it really. But thanks for your help guys I really appreciate it.

My car does the EXACT same thing! I was going to get my brakes checked and see if that helps.

do you have LT's on the car? if so you may need to get a new stearing shaft. I was reading in here that the LT's sit too close to the rubber dampaner in the stearing shaft and caueses it to fail.

You can so a search on steering shafts.
