Default suspension questions

I drove to NH in a Dodge Stratus (rental - a decent car for the money) and the suspension on that car was pretty nice. I couldn't really feel any bumps/pot holes and it was easy on the road. Now when I get back in my 01 GT I feel like I have no suspension and I feel every bump Granted ones a sports car and ones a sedan...

My 01 doesnt bounce more than 1 time and the shocks are pretty solid (from what I know anyway). Is there anything else I can do to improve the quality of the ride?

As a note, I have Fuzion ZRi's and I added more air to the tires (35 psi) to improve the soft sidewall issues.

Please help!

Buy a Stratus??

Remember, you don't want too soft of a suspension, since it induces body-roll. Even though our chassis aren't that stiff from the factory, giving it MORE body roll, or a softer suspension isn't safe...

You could try a progressive rate spring, which gives you a little bit of each: Softer, more comfortable ride when cruising, and a progressively stiffer spring on harder turn-ins...

I just don't find Progressive Rates to be very predictable.. Then again, I love to drive my car hard, so your results may vary..

Another thing I thought of this morning, is an Air-bag suspension.

Although I've never used one on a sports car, I've had great luck on other vehicles....

I think there are a few people on here who've done the Air-bags. You may want to ask around...
