I heard not to use them cause they are not "good" for the engine.... Is this true?

Don't know about that but
if you get a bottle of SEAFOUM pour it in your gas tank them fill it up and it works( cleans injectors, cat backs, thortle body )

Sea Foam is the best stuff ever. REad the side of the can and you will see that you can use it in your oil before a change and also can run it through your pcv valve line........that will instantly clean your engine out. White smoke will come out of you exhaust from the cleaning.

also call them directly tell them what promblems your having and they will let you know what and how to apply it!!!

i got a can of it in the 'garage' waiting to go in. i figure after i replace the valve seals I'll do a full cleaning and then also replace the spark plugs while i'm at it.


a brand of fuel cleaner I have had good luck with is the lucas brand. I don't like their oil addtives (Or anyone's for that matter) but they have a great fuel cleaner that has given me good results
