Removing my stock Midpipe help!
Ok, I am trying to get my stock midpipe off so I can install my o/r H pipe. I need some help as to how you guys got the passenger's side bolts off, up by the manifolds. We have stripped one of the bolts trying to get it off. I believe its the bottom one that is being a pain. I would really like to know how you guys got yours off if you had this problem. I know a lot of people have said that the passengers side is a real pain in the butt, but dang. Thanks in advance!

I stripped mine too. They are really hard to get at [:@]
Just had to keep working on it. Hammered a slightly smaller socket onto the nut and just kept working it. It was alot easier on a lift. I couldn't put enough strength behind it on jack stands.
I suppose if you could get in there, you could cut it off.

Ya, we have it on ramps right now. That joker is just on there as tight as can be. And since its on their kinda at an angle its hard to get good leverage on it. I just hope we can get it done soon. My bro and my dad just went to Autozone to try and find some stuff to help use get this darn bolt off.

I end up rounding the corners on the nut also. Luckly we had a nut extractor. looks like a set of sockets with counter clockwise threads( i say thread, but the grooves just slowly twist) inside the socket. Worked like a charm.

if none of this penetrant does the trick, bet a craftsman bolt out set an use the one that's a scoshe smaller than it. Then you will have ot take a torch to the nut and make it glow red, and I guarantee it will come off this way. Had to do that on mine when I yanked the tranny
