david k, i appreciate your love for saleens but i can tell you in this case, my gt will smoke the livin **** out of this saleen. I think the only thing that made me think about trading was that his is a convertible. I know , dumb thought! I also can tell you i get a hell of alot more looks in my gt then this saleen ever would! Lets see i bought my gt off the showroom floor (literally) for aprox. 23,000 give or take. I put about another 5,000 or so in upgrades including 20" wheels w/35 series tires. that puts me at roughly 30,000 into it. thid guy probably paid 50,000 or more for his and mine will blow his doors off!! For the difference of 20,000 i could drop 3 or 4 superchargers on mine. oh, and for the cornering thing, trust me , i would catch him before he got to the corner bro!

its also easy to forget that its not practical for all these members to spend the amount of money that owning a saleen requires.

oh about corner speed. my 322hp cobra kills 700hp vettes and vipers because its not how much speed you carry into a corner its how much speed you carry out. slow in fast out. you come in to hot and your off the track. at my last event at texas world speedway i had a cammed c6 z06 come in behind my car by 14.88 sec. and he was puttin down 640 hp. so think a little bit harder before you think a car that is way faster in the straights will come out on top of a car that handles better
