ok cool...

any ideas what I FUBARed???

when the window is fully closed, and i go to open it, i get this hellacious rattle for about 2 seconds then the rest of the way down it's nothing. if i stop in the middle i can totally move the window around like it's loose but it hasn't fallen down yet.... if it falls down and breaks i'ma gonna be super pissed

Take the cover off of the tweeter and there will be two screws to take out so you can remove the side panel.

that **** happened in my 02 GT, the window came off it's track. I had to order a new window, cuz the track roller is part of the window assembly... but that's just my experience. don't know if it's diff for you.

speaker wise, you should look into a seperate component set, that way your door speaker and tweeter work and mesh well together.

tonight/tomorrow morning i will see what i can figure out about the stupid window.

as for the speakers unfortunately they will have to wait. once again i have the time and energy to rip stuff apart to do one thing but not have enough money to replace some other stuff while i'm in there. this blows... o well
