Default RE: New Toy!

Just got back, yeah I ordered it from my local mustang only shop THR for $318 + shipping + tax (for in state sales). Their website is TexasHotRods.com they're the best shop for stangs around the El Paso TX area. That is the other reason my engine so dirty the desert wind really makes it hard to keep things clean. (Don't worry I will wash the engine this weekend.)

You should check that all the bolts on the throttle body and plenum were tightened well. also check all the vacums to make sure there isn't any vacume leaks. The gaskets used on the instalation (especially if they reused the old gaskets) could also be bad.

looks nice i was thinking bout that one but i went with c&l because its like more curved so the air just goes straight down instead of chilling in that like box shaped bbk plenum. but any aftermarket plenum is nice.

If there are any sharp edges that the incoming air encounters it will make the whistling sound.

For example, if your TB is a large diameter and the plenum has a slightly smaller opening where the two pieces meet, there will be edges of the plenum that the air is running into and causing some whistling.
