Default TB and PL

Can a 75mm TB bolt up to a stock Plenum with out having to grind it out?

How neccesary are plenums? Are TB's fine with out them?

I plan on gettin a P51 intake later soo i dont wanna waste money on a PLenum if its not neccesarily a significant improvement

A new TB is pretty much worthless without a plenum. You won't really feel any gains other than a stiffer pedal.

It's not difficult at all to match up the plenum to a 75mm t/b, you mentioned not wanting to grind it out, but it is really easy, I did a write up on it, it's in the how-to section in the sticky's

I read your write up, very good btw thats what caused me to raise the question of whether you need to grind or not. I read the stickies b4 this post dw i jsut had a question about them
